*Official* England in South Africa

Would they retain him ahead of Ntini or Morkel?
Good case to keep him ahead of the former, whose pace is scarcely above military medium nowadays judging by the evidence of this test. However suspect there'll be factors other than entirely cricketing ones at play that mitigate towards Ntini's retention.

Yes I doubt they would only include two non-white players. I guess they're waiting for Parnell to be ready and that will easy the quota issues with their bowling.

Was genuinely stunned when I found out Wayne is technically a Cape Coloured. Would never have called it to look at him.

FFS my reply on FB when I found out that the only change to the squad for next 2 tests was Mclaren for Parnell: So we not gonna take 20 wickets next game either. WTF are SA selectors up 2? Cape Cobras bowling attack destroying all batting in SA and being ignore. Ntini lost all pace and wasting new ball. Cant play Harro in Durban = suicide. Please can we lose the series today so some heads can roll.

Padding up can't have been smart Colly - but got away with it though.

At tea I thought there was a case for bringing in Swann at 6 if KP & Trott lasted another hour or so. Obviously not when KP did himself in.

Happy enough with the draw (assuming nothing diastrous happens from here), half of me sadistically wishes we'd lost a few more poles for a more exciting finish!

I think we were going to go for it when KP got out, hence his silly run, all things considered we've been pretty competitive throughout the match. Amla's ton was so important - had we snared him early I reckon we'd have gone on to win

Oh balls

Still think it's a disgrace Boucher is in the team?
I never suggested anything like that. I have consistantly stated that there is a better keeper/batsman than he is look at Kuhns consistant form for a few seasons now and it is abd BS that he has not made the team.

I'm not worrying yet. But are the commentators serious when they say this is what Ian Bell was picked for?

Mitch destroyed SA in kingsmead earlier this year and what are SA gonna do? Play a bowling lineup of Steyn Morkell Ntini Harris and JP lol hardly looks a threat. Kallis was said to be only available to bowl in third test.

Ian ****ing Bell, dog ****.
Good catch from Boucher though, obviously Kuhn would've snaffled it in his sleep and hit 40000 runs while he's at it. Remember everyone, Boucher's ****.

God, why do we persist with him? The man for a crisis in the same way that Gary Glitter is the man to run a kindergarten.

Luke Wright? You'd have thought so.
