AdelaideNow... Big bash revolution for cricket

Proposed new format to 20/20 in Australia.

37 games instead of 17, two new teams in "growth areas".

"new city-based Twenty20 teams to replace existing state based teams. For instance, there will be a team based in Adelaide rather than South Australia with new colours, a new branding and a new identity."


Still the same boring ass format. I don't get it.

From what I understand there were more reasons he left WA than just OD cricket.

The really stupid part was that they hardly had a great pair openers keeping him out. Ronchi had been shocking at the top of the order for a good couple of years, yet they refused to make a change.

I would be very angry if it meant the Shield season dropped from 10 games to 8, 8 is not enough.

Dunno. Weather tends to be a bit of an issue in Melbourne in the first couple of weeks of the season as it is. Pretty ordinary right now!

Hey, I'd love more games but if, say, we have 12 in a season and two of them get washed out purely because the season kicks off early, bit of a disadvantage to Vic.
