:dry: Chris Martin slipping down the pecking order perhaps? Would of been nice to have someone with pace or an extra spinner right about now, Tuffey and Martin in the same team just isn't going to work.

Make Richardson a selector :cool: If and it's a pretty big if, New Zealand want to keep the five man bowling attack why not bring someone in that has the extra pace. If they have a total shocker they will only have to bowl 10-15 overs anyway.

Martin, Tuffey and Southee are to similar and it kind of wastes picking a five man bowling attack imo.

Martin-135-140 that bowls in swing to the right hander, good to lefties.
Tuffey-125-130 outswinger with bounce
Southee-130-135 outswinger
O'Brien-140+ awesome

Mark Richardson is always whining about lack of pace. He's a typical batsman, always blaming the bowlers despite the fact there is only one proven test class batsman in the top five.

I don't care who he is, when it comes to bowling he should just not talk. Good for batting but is an awful journo when it comes to talking bowling because its always "crying face no 150kph crying face"

Martin only bowled nine overs in the first innings. If we pick a speedster that has a bad day with five bowlers it isn't going to matter much.

Well batted Pakistan, but I wasn't entirely impressed by NZ's effort. Even if this pitch is flat as ****.

Not an A team then. But rest Vettori who is nursing injuries. And Taylor who needs to be fresh for Aussie. Last time they toured here Auckland had their measure. I found this old score card from a 50 over match.

The only counter argument is that I don't think they had Shakib last time they toured.
