I imagine Broom will get a go at number 5. There really is no one to replace Flynn, as Fulton was easily the best performing number 3 in the country and he can't handle playing at number 5. And I'd just bring Southee or Patel in for Elliot, as there are no real quality all rounder options in New Zealand.

And try Broom at 5.
I can't think of anyone to try at 6 instead of Elliot. I think he has to stay until Ryder returns. And then Broom can play at 6.

I read an article that said he was a maybe for the last Wellington game as a specialist batsman only. But then he didn't play. Haven't read anything else but that may mean he's in for more knee surgery and out for an extended period

Loving how people are still calling for Flynn's head despite him being second highest scorer in each innings. He may not be a world class batsman but he at least values his wicket a bit more than others in the side.

Would definitely not play Dave ahead of someone like Southee, considering Southee is a better player and Pakistan would eat a bowler of Dave's ability.
