International Coach
Lovin the fact that either some of the old cardboard fans from early 90's are there, or some of the older players refused permission for image to be used, so replaced with a grey body shape :)

The research of club historian Fred Ollyer has failed to turn up images for Tom Maxwell, William Maycock, James Caldwell and Fred Jones.
Explains the 4 blank faces.

It was three weeks a few days back. Arsenal's physio staff in horrendous misdiagnosis of an injury shocker.

Nah, think you'll find 3 weeks was the expected lay off after his injury playing for the U21s, although it turned out it was just a bruise and not any tendons or anything like that.
Due to the fact it was just a bruise he returned on Tuesday night after missing the Sunderland game.
It was confirmed a few days ago that he'd be out for 3 months after that horror tackle on Tuesday. He had surgery yesterday IIRC and on Wednesday,Arsene said that Gibbs "had a hole in his leg" after the tackle.

So yeah, if expecting a 3 week lay off for a completely different injury to his current one is a "horrendous misdiagnosis" then you're right. But it isn't and you're not.

I see. My bad.

But the first line of that post did still tell a story about Arsenal's physio staff horrendously misdiagnosing an injury, so while you've succeeded in making me look a plank, your defence of your team's medical staff leaves a lot to be desired :p.

Pub day on Sunday. Hoping to get sufficiently drunk during the Merseyside game (whilst Everton are tonking Pool) so that come the Arsenal game I won't give a crap if the result isn't favourable.

Don't worry, Arshavin is going to win it.
I have major concerns over the absence of Van Persie. Without him up front there is a distinct lack of physical presence in the front line. Not to mention the fact that Eduardo's finishing has been poor as of late, though I have faith that he will turn that around. But I can see the likes of Eduardo, Walcott, Nasri and Vela all being bullied and pushed around by Chelsea's strong defence, and in an attempt to combat that I fear that Diaby may be put in the side as a combative type midfielder...and I have doubts over his quality full stop. Silvestre playing at left back is another horrible prospect, but I'd sooner have him there than as a centre back, as at least he can cross. Gallas missing out is another major worry, so I'm desperately hoping that he will be fit, a back four involving Silvestre and Senderos together is a fairly awful prospect in my opinion. Get the feeling that if Arsenal are to get a result a lot will rest on Arshavin as you say, and Fabregas of course.
