Yeah true, didn't consider Hussey. Knowing the Australian selectors I'm sure Warner with a grand total of 1 FC game for NSW leads Broad for selection.
Consdiering Marsh has been selected as back up opening batsmen and Klinger opened during his career. I dare say both are ahead as opening options. Also considering Watson opening record is as poor as Hodge prior to his Test selection, he would also be ahead. Would take a Windies style stike before Broad get selected imo.

Both teams beaten by the pitch, tbh. Surprised it went on as long as it did, as much as Haberfield 5-fer would have made me smile.
Yeah me too, the weather was disgusting yesterday and I think they would have been grateful to get off the oval, espcially as they're traveling to Alice Spings today for the FRC match at Traeger Park on Sat night.

I guess Kevin Sheedy would call this match a 'final' for the SA. We have missed an experienced bowler to lead the attack this year but then again, we usually pass the time talking about 'next' season when it comes to the redbacks.

Top weekend of domestic cricket. Study will probably keep me from venturing down to watch the Victoria v Western Australia game, but will be keeping a keen eye over procedings.

Symonds should be RBTd before tomorrow's game. Seriously, going by his own admissions and actions in the past, I would not trust that guy to turn up sober.

No future for Thornley, I'd have thought.

WTF with Symonds' recall? There must be some young blokes gunning it in grade right now who will be filthy.

Taking out Shane Harwood who is injured and selecting Brett Dorey instead.

Also, lol at :
CA has issued a directive over player workload that sees Australian players such as McDonald, captain Cameron White, Clint McKay and Jon Holland also unable to play
