Yeah, I really wanted a defesnive minded player and I rate Gilberto. Probably are a lot better options I had 2 other options in mind that probably would've been better selections come to think of it.

Haha, he'd be one of the 2 that I was contemplating ahead of Gilberto. Though Rino seems to have fallen off somewhat. Not heard much about him for a while.
Slightly annoyed with myself now, probably something to do with the Arsenal love clouding my judgement this evening.

There's loads of players for that position without a massive amount between them- Cocu, Davids, Di Livio, Di Biagio, Simeone, Dunga (cbf to check which of those have been taken already). It's a pretty good spot to leave until the end really.

I couldn't be having Roy Keane in anyone else's team though.

Cocu, Davids and Simeone are all players that I completely forgot about.
As for Di Livio and Di Biagio I don't know of either of them too well so wasn't likely to pick them.
Wasn't even aware Dunga was a DM.

Di Livio and Di Biagio imo were both decent players but hardly real top drawer, Di Livio was more ofa cult favourite than anything else for mine. Demetrio Albertini was better than both of them.
