Gambhir catch dropped. Gambhir has been average today, I reiterate. Hasn't meddled the ball or hit it off the middle a fair few times.

Gambhir scores more times than he looks good at the crease, it is what makes him such a valuable asset. He is sort of like Johnson, tbh, he can be brilliant but he can also scratch out a performance while looking average.

Regarding your apprehension about India - Yuvraj, Gambhir or Dhoni needs to bat through the inning. That looked grim but when I analyzed it closely, Dhoni averages 70 with the bat this year. I don't think Australia are favourites by any means.

Merv Hughes did say he doesn't have pay TV so he can't watch any of the games on Fox sports.
You've got to be kidding me. CA won't cover the cost for one of the national selectors to get pay TV so he can actually watch the freaking players? Unbelievable.

at least it explains the selections of late . He'd miss ODD cricket also.

confusing Gambhir with Raina or Rohit there, are you???

Or you juz don't like the fact that he gives it back to the Aussies just as hard in sledging terms? :p
No, I reckon he'll get sorted tbh. Smells of FTB, but if he proves me wrong good on him. Personally think he's a **** who's attitude is about 10000 test runs ahead of his status in the game. Katich should have dropped him like a bad habit.

OT, how old's this stadium? Looks fantastic.

Tbf, that is one of the better attributes a player can have imo.

First ODI in this stadium. Had a test which was scarcely full because it is 35 km from the city. It is now jam packed. Players have also spoken well about this stadium's facilities.

This is what I hate about ODI cricket. The ****y middle overs. Dhoni is so good at taking the quick singles and twos though. One of the best ODI players of all time.

It looks awesome, almost like a footy stadium with really steep stands (unless the camera angles make it look steeper than it is).

Out of interest, how does Johnson shape thw ball in to the left hander with such a low arm action?
