Yep, decided to just buy one. Lucky I did too - was only single seats left when I bought it, and has probably sold out now. Biggest crowd ever for a football game in NZ. Can't wait. The atmosphere should be awesome.Would not miss out mate. Get a ticket asap.

GK isn't great. desperately old Centre Backs, Defence as a whole only seems good because 3/4 of it plays in the Premiership. Diarra, sure he plays for Real Madrid now, but he's a Chelsea/Arsenal reject. Toulalan i rate, but Sissoko was proven to be prone to rubbish displays at Liverpool. Right Midfield, weak. I don't rate Benzema as top class either.

It's a different Sissoko tbh. But yes, agree with the rest of the points. I would also suggest that Abidal is crap.

Govou and Abidal are both pretty mediocre players, Gignac I'll hold judgement on as he's played the 8 games and seems to have done ok. You don't have to be an afficiando of French Football to tell they've struggled the last 2-3 years.

Yea, but mainly because Domenech IMO is picking the wrong keeper for France. I dont understand why Coupet has been dropped & why Sebastian Frey isn't number 1.
Thats not right. If you say outside Gallas the defense seems to be lacking the strong solidity of the past, that would true. Given that the likes of Mexes, Squllaci, Escude, Boomsong seem just club quality but not fully international quality. Gallas certainly does play like his 32 for Arsenal ATM.
But it is good regardless of that. In Evra/Abidal/Clichy they got 3 of the best left-backs in the world & Sagna is very good @ right back. Le Blue's weakness at the back is finding a partner for Gallas ATM, the quality of full-backs only Spain, Brazil, Italy can rival.
More so because of how they treated him at both clubs rather than lack of ability though. At Chelsea he was never going to break into the mid-field & at Arsenal when Flamini stepped as main defensive mid-fielder, Wenger benched him. Arsenal could certainly do with him now. At Portsmouth Lass showed his class, so no issue.
I dont know what Sissoko is doing in the squad. But the mid-field depth is strong with Gourcuff, Flamini, Nasri & big Ribery not playing in those recent WCQ.
I dont see how right-midfield could be weak especially when RIbery plays out their most of the time. Plus fair enough on Benzema, although i'd say he is pretty much on the way to being top class striker

Gouvou yea but he wont be part of best France XI though. No way is Abidal mediocre one of the best left-backs in the world, he is mediocre as central defender, where Domenech has been experimenting with of late though.
Ok, but i'm not paying much attention to him ATM. In Henry, Anelka, Benzema the front is solid enough going into the WC.
Yes i know that. Thats why i said in my previous post i'm keeping my eye on them regardless of their struggles, since on paper France can only be rivalved by Spain & Brazil. They just need to get the right formula, probably get a new coach & its BANG BOOOM!!!

Still effed off about this. I know the little guys rarely get a fair shake from the governing bodies in any sport, but the injustice of seeding the draw when all the groups were seeded in the first place is palpable. Slovenia needed to finish above Poland, the Czechs & N Ireland to make the play-offs and Bosnia had to best Turkey & Belgium but both are going to be rewarded by (probable) heroic failure.
Using the FIFA rankings rather than the order in which the teams finished in the play-off table just makes the whole affair all the more craven and sordid too.
