Rischitelli is being a dick. Do what is best for your club.

He will always be the player that cost Brisbane having a J Brown + B Fevola forward line!

Josh Kennedy didn't want to leave Carlton, but he didn't want to be the guy that cost the Blues Chris Judd.
I brought up this point on another website as well Josh Kennedy was very reluctant to leave Carlton but at the start of the following week and especially now is very very comfortable at his new club.

Apparently GC 17 are lurking around Risca as an uncontracted player for 2010 as well.

Hahaha, what a forward line!

At what cost though? Henderson was certainly one of our more promising young talls, and now we've lost what may likely be our only top 20 draft pick for the next 2 seasons....

Always make sure I'm home for the last few hours of trade week, hectic!

lol at Collingwood, their Leigh Brown love has gone too far if they trade Nathan.

Maybe he's got reasons to stay in Brisbane...

His Girlfriend is from Brisbane and is not to keen on moving apparently.

Lol, in the end Rischitelli's stubborness paid dividend for Brisbane.

Who would have thought Carlton could be so dumb.

At the end of the season, they strengthened their midfield (which was already their strength!) and removed their only forward target.

Don't see them getting any better in 2010.

Nah, this deal is better. Bradshaw only has a year or two left and Henderson is supposed to be an absolute gun in the making. Much more future oriented.

Carlton will most certainly reap the future benefits of the deal, and I can understand why Voss has seemingly neglected the future for this season, and looked to chase a flag again. In reality, the lineup before trade week wasn't going to be challenging for a flag in the next 2/3 years. They were going to be even less likely to be challenging for a flag after that when Black/Power/Bradshaw had their best years behind them, even allowing for youth development. The Fev deal may have re-opened our premiership window in the next 2/3 years, as risky as it may be for the longer term future of the club.

Worth noting that from a PR perspective, Fev to the club is huge considering all the hype that's going to be surrounding the GC in the coming 2 years.
