Here at the Parra training run things are a bit hectic with a bigger crowd than at the Cronulla game earlier in the season.

That hasn't stopped 7 year old Atticus Burge thinking the entire squad should line up and sign his shirt though.

Back to you in the studio Peter...

Disappointed Melbourne aren't staying at their usual Parramatta hotel. Was going to set the fire alarm off tbh.

Nah, Melbourne are a great side, no doubt. But their prep has been a lot like the Dogs' prep heading into the prelim final against Parra. A training run first week, week off then playing a Brisbane side without Wallace and who'd played their GF a week earlier.

They deserve favouritism, but I think our blokes have a real chance in this one.

Interesting facts and figures about Fui in here:

Can anyone point out if this seems right or not?

Maybe it's what he eats.

''He's the horse in our team,'' said the Eels centre Krisnan Inu. ''He loves to eat it, so that's why he runs like one.''

He eats like a horse? ''No, he eats horse,'' Inu said.

''It tastes nice. Every islander eats a bit of horse.''

Next weeks headlines: Fui in wifebeating/peeing in public/child spanking/beer drinking/ drug fuelled bender/haircut that isn't ludicrous shocker.

Parra to fall harder here than 01 imo. Way too much hype from what I've seen this week.

Don't see how its possible really, there was so much pressure on the 01 team cause they pretty much had the comp in the bag. Win or lose this Sunday it's been an incredible season for them.

Yeah. They're always going to dominate the Sydney hype when they're the only local team in it. Would be same for Dogs, Saints or whoever, plus the way they've gotten there adds to it.

Well, the boys from both teams seemed reasonably relaxed at the GF breakfast this morning, though it's unfair to put 34 blokes up on the stage who normally eat with their fingers, and expect them to show decent etiquette.

tbh, from parties I've attended at Mortimer Vineyard, Daniel is lucky to get that far....he was however about 15 when I was out there last.
