WeakRight, bedtime now, and I will not be impressed if I wake up tomorrow and find we conspired to lose this from here.
I expect you to wake up at 4am and check the score.

Yep - McCullum simply does not work at the top, well not at the moment. Elliot is playing his role very well and when Taylor can find form again, which perhaps will coincide with him finding a new scoring shot, then the middle order will look a lot better.Agree completely. All I ask for is one grafter in the top 4 to provide balance.
Hindsight's a great thing ayeNewzealand are 5 down now, i thought they were going to score 300
but now it's impossible i think

Two or three yes, but for us I think only one in the top 3*. Then Elliott at 5, with Vettori to rescue us with some grafting like today if necessary (ie. bat 7 or 8 or 9 depending on circumstance).Hmm. I'd say you want at least two or three players in the side who aren't necessarily grafters, but who have the ability to play that role when necessary. Guptill did a great job of it today, tbh.
Agree completely. Also, Broom has crossed the "go back to domestic cricket" boundary for me today. Enough chances now - yes he would ideally be batting at 4 or 5 but those spots are taken, so tough luck. Will have one more chance to redeem himself against England though.
Was the moment that I knew we were in a good position TBH.Haha - Scaly of all 'people' thought it was a possibility though..
Wait....does not compute. You sir, are lying.Haha - Scaly of all 'people' thought it was a possibility though..
proving he knows his cricket, he was right when he said it could have been 220 all out or 300+ at that stageHaha - Scaly of all 'people' thought it was a possibility though..
It actually is true, as hard to believe as it may sound.Wait....does not compute. You sir, are lying.
Hope that goes well for you - coffee and paracetamol to save the day.Am a bit sick tbf, need all the sleep I can get.
Which is why I'm still up at 20 to 1 and have to get up early for work tomorrow
Indeed, this ...Current partnership 31 runs, 2.0 overs, RR: 15.50 (Franklin 11, Mills 18) ....was a real bonushaha wow, pretty amazed at how well that worked out.
I'd say McGlashan in for Hopkins (squad wise) and Styris in for Broom and we've got the squad absolutely spot on.Expect him to make a scratchy 30 against England though and be retained.
