"Quite underrated"?6 goals in 60 appearances is ok for a winger. He also has a hand in a lot of goals and works his socks off. Pienaar quite underrated here, it seems.
Haha, long, long before I found out Liverpool and Everton were bitter rivals, they became my favourite two sides. I'm just full of wub.Thought you supported Liverpool Nath?
I'd say a good winger ought to score more than once every ten matches. Pienaar is alright, perfectly fine player, never going to set the world alight though. Like most of Evertons players.6 goals in 60 appearances is ok for a winger. He also has a hand in a lot of goals and works his socks off. Pienaar quite underrated here, it seems.
Hmm, I wasn't talking about the thread or forum in general by saying "here", merely the few who were talking about it. And there's more like 6 people talking about it - Me, you, Nnanden, sledger, roseboy and Uppercut.Quite fond of the generalisation there, sir.
Sure, but 6 goals and probably many more assists would suggest he's a tad better than "never ever ever" having a hand in a goal.I'd say a good winger ought to score more than once every ten matches. Well yes, but I wasn't the one who said that.Sure, but 6 goals and probably many more assists would suggest he's a tad better than "never ever ever" having a hand in a goal.
Aha! Adebayor is in cahoots with Eboue! On a serious note though, i'm not sure how refusing to shake someones hand is any more of a disgrace than stamping on someone's head. But Adebayor, who counts Eboue as one of his closest friends at Arsenal, says his former team-mates also showed his a lack of respect.
"There were players from Arsenal who refused to shake my hand before kick-off," he added.
"My friends, like Eboue, were fine, they are decent people. But I could not understand some of the players being disrespectful towards me.
"I have spent a lot of time with them and I thought they were my friends, but the way some of them behaved is just crazy.
"When a man offers you his hand, you shake it. For them to act like that was a disgrace."
Should complete the Mersey treble and become a Tranmere fan tbhHaha, long, long before I found out Liverpool and Everton were bitter rivals, they became my favourite two sides. I'm just full of wub.

Got a mate back in Australia who supports Liverpool and claims United as his second team. Something just completely unwholesome about that TBH.Should complete the Mersey treble and become a Tranmere fan tbh
That's not how Eboue tells it, tbf. From The Guardian.Aha! Adebayor is in cahoots with Eboue! On a serious note though, i'm not sure how refusing to shake someones hand is any more of a disgrace than stamping on someone's head.
Transportation to the colonies IMHO...oh. wait.No offence, but he should be imprisoned at the very least
Hmm fair enough, Eboue is hardly one to talk about what is and what isn't acceptable mind you, his record of past conduct is hardly exemplary, his sending off against Man Utd in the FA cup a few years ago being a prime example of that. That's not how Eboue tells it, tbf. From The Guardian.
It has emerged that Touré visited the Arsenal dressing room after the game to offer apologies, although it is unclear whether that was at Adebayor's prompting.
"For me, Adebayor, he didn't do well," Eboué said, "and that is no good for football because you have a lot of young people who watch the game and then, they see that. But I am happy that the FA gave him a three-game ban, I am very, very happy about that. And, because I know him, I think he will think about that and he will take it on. Now, he will try to play his game because that was no good for football. I am very disappointed about it, very disappointed.
"In the dressing room, we were very disappointed because we don't know what happened to Adebayor. When he was in our team, we were together, we did everything together, so we don't know what happened. After that, Kolo has come into our dressing room and he said sorry to everyone. That was very, very nice."
Hmm even I don't do that. Should point him to Zyzzyva and a local Scrabble club.Hmm fair enough, Eboue is hardly one to talk about what is and what isn't acceptable mind you, his record of past conduct is hardly exemplary, his sending off against Man Utd in the FA cup a few years ago being a prime example of that.
Doesn't surprise me to hear praise of Kolo though, from what I can gather he has always been a very humble and pleasant guy. One of my favourite stories of him is that in his first two seasons at Arsenal reporters would often find him hanging around after training had finished just reading the dictionary, what a guy.
One of the biggest Liverpool fans I know here just doesn't buy into the whole anti-Manc/anti-Everton thing at all. Only when it's in Liverpool's interests to see them lose. He's from London though, so it's probably not too uncommon there.Got a mate back in Australia who supports Liverpool and claims United as his second team. Something just completely unwholesome about that TBH.
