Does anyone know what's wrong with Cook? I notice he's come in at 6 for Essex, and he's scored 1 off 34. Is he ill or injured?

I have watched most of the Durham inning. They did well to reach the total they did considering the batting they had.

Does any one know what the relegation scenario is like for the Pro 40? How many teams get relegated?

Good to see Sreesanth continue some solid OD performances amongst the poor FC form, shows that this tour for him has not been a total waste.

I remember when he first showed up in 2007 with the Indian side. Looked a smashing bowler, just off the back of an awesome tour of South Africa.

Faded for the rest of the tour and his form's taken a serious landslide since then.

First time I've seen the much-mentioned Shantry, bowling now for Worcs against Somerset. Have to say he has rather an ugly action, seems to be all elbows.

That was such a good delivery. Floored the batsman and Nigel Long called it wide. FFS.

These two teams are top of the table and it will be good watching the second inning of the game.

Ended up missing leg stump by quite a way though, so I don't think Llong really had a choice. Looked as if it was aimed at the batsman's feet tbh, but he just managed to get out of the way.

The batsman would have been hit had he not fallen down. Not the bowler's mistake.

What a strange interview - Andrew sounded as if he didn't understand the questions, and Allott looked as if he didn't understand the answers. You can tell it's the end of the season.

Yeah, could be quite easily the easiest catch I've ever seen a proffesional drop, funny considering he is probably the best keeper I've ever seen as well.

Alfonso Thomas, WAG.
Do you not remember during our last tour of NZ, during either the ODIs or T20s, when McCullum dropped one that literally didn't deviate from the straight, but there was a big noise - it didn't move at all, but McCullum still dropped it.

I hadn't realised Ian Fisher was at Worcs these days, but given that he's played one FC match this season, bowling three overs for 15, I could be forgiven for missing it. I suppose the departure of Batty might give him more opportunities if he's still there next year.

Glamorgan playing Lancashire with 10 men needs closer examination doesn't it? Did someone not turn up or something?

Edit: looks like an error from Cricinfo. Parry is credited with two wickets but only one is shown on the batting card.

Come on the tie - which would hand Sussex the title. Or failing that, a narrow Somerset victory (if Somerset win then we can still win even if we lose our last game, but we can't if Worcs go through because our last game's against them).

Anyhow, more importantly, does anyone else think that Peter Trego looks like Ben Hilfenhaus?

I don't think you're going to get your wish - 8 an over needed with five wickets left. I should think many of the crowd are starting to leave now.

Just thinking, Ben Phillips has done OK at Somerset for a man with an indifferent fitness record on his third county.

Kabir Ali off to Hampshire on a three year deal.

Worcestershire have been decimated and they were already ****house with Davies, Ali and Batty.

Yes I believe they're after some form of transfer compensation for releasing him a year early aren't they ? Figure I heard mooted was around £60,000.
