Ah well. Who's got the Ashes? Unlucky Clarke. Celebrate all you want.
o rly?But at the end of the day, the only score that really matters is 2-1.

Have you seen Lily Allen? If you do tell her to **** off from meComing to you live from the Members' Guests Stand at Lord's. Opulent enough to make me desire entry to the bacon and egg club itself, but not so much so that it glosses over England's awfulness.
Two key points so far. One, Owais Shah is a spanner. Two, Asad Rauf was sat in front of me and Morris, and he's lost his mullet.
It's not so much pessimism, it's that all we'll do if we win this is paper over the cracks of what is a pathetically poor batting line-up, as has been said in this thread would be better for our develoment in this form if we got royally hammered in these matches, that may make them get rid of some of the deadwood.England still slightly in front, English pessimisim aside.
Really oh really.o rly?
Nice revisionism.Who would have thought that a player who never scored any runs for Ireland at Associate level and never scored any runs for Middlesex at a particularly low first-class level wouldn't score any runs for England either.

The only reason these matches have been close, and I'm not so sure this one will be now, is that your fairly ****e too.
Watto bowling well is bad news IMO; injury beckons.
Watto won't make the end of this series, FTR.
Bearing in mind that his highest score against a test-playing team (in 16 innings) is 37* against the West Indies, and his overall average is 35 with an especially dour strike rate of 71, you have to question what exactly England saw in him.Nice revisionism.

Only failures for Ireland were on slow, low wickets in the West Indies and in Bangladesh. Aside from that, he was infinitely their best batsman in ODI and first class associate cricket.
