*Official* Australia in England T20s and ODIs

King Pietersen

International Captain
Ravi Bopara (might as well keep him)
Steve Davies +
Ed Joyce
Kevin Pietersen *
Jonathan Trott
Paul Collingwood
Luke Wright/Andrew Flintoff (when/if Fred's fit)
Stuart Broad
Adil Rashid
Graeme Swann
James Anderson

Why can't we see something like that? Davies can actually bat in OD cricket, Trott's the 2nd best OD batsman in England and Morgan looks a real class act. Looks a hell of alot stronger than this XI anyway.

Sorry, Greg, what? How are the scores even if Oz were 15 runs ahead at this stage? That's 3 overs' worth at this rate.

Probably replace Bopara with Strauss and change (might as well keep him) to (only because he's captain), less and less convinced as the days go buy about Bopara's mental abilities to become an international cricketer. Think 2 spinners should only be the used often when/if Flintoff is playing and we need to find a better seamer than Jimmeh at the moment.

Don't really think you can fault Ravi too much today. Sure he's batted slowly, but he's still batting, which is more than he's been doing recently against the Aussies, he's not looked scratchy or out of his depth either, just batted too slow. He'd have felt under immense pressure having failed in the T20 so it's nice to see him getting a few runs. Just praying that he starts to kick on and makes a hundred. He won't though, he'll chuck his wicket away soon.

Not too sure Morgan's a limited overs prospect, really. Reckon his fellow countryman Joyce worth another look tho. 3 ListA tons this year and more runs than anyone else domestically.

Maybe Nick Compton too? Not English and averages nearly 40 in List A. Both big plusses IMHO.

Only six runs behind on the D/L, I still reckon we're favourites. We need a decent partnership from these two, but we've got plenty of guys who can smack a few quickly lower down the order.

Ah yeh, good shout that. Completely forgot about Joyce, would definitely swap Morgan for Joyce in my side.

Owais actually going along quite nicely. 24 from 23 balls. Just needs to keep going.

Ravi gone, chucks away another start. Such a cheap way to go as well. Just what England didn't need, what a waste of 88 balls.

How on earth was that not a run out? Shah's running is hilarious. If one of these 2 get out we're royally fooked. Wouldn't trust Luke Wright to do anything of worth in this situation.

Because Luke Wright's the next Andrew Flintoff, obviously.........

Run rate required almost at 7 now, we're so screwed.
