*Official* Australia in England T20s and ODIs

You're being way too kind. We'd need a 50% improvement to ascend to the giddy heights of terrible.

Why no Trott? He injured?
He scored an excellent 93 for Warwickshire yesterday, so he's fit. Just our selectors being knobs. Trott should be the next name on the team sheet after Pietersen given his List A record. A 6,7,8 of Wright, Broad and Rashid just isn't anywhere near good enough. If we go into the CT with that we'll be screwed.

LMAO, nice builders bum love. Bet she's embarrassed now.

Bit of both IMHO. Both will score between 40-60 at about 60 per 100, fail to go on and leave the tail chasing about 8 PO.

Bopara's innings is making Michael Clarke look like Shahid Afridi. Just get on with it ffs. It's like he's so desperate to make runs for England that he's taking zero risks. He got himself in the side by playing positively, the OD double hundred for example, and a few real quick hundreds in the Pro40 and OD cricket, but then he plays like this internationally.

The less said about Prior the better. He's clearly not the best OD batsman in England, nowhere near. Steve Davies should be in the side until Kieswetter's England qualified.

Oh and can't stand Knight as a commentator, but I was listening to TMS earlier and that was ***** as well, too much of Tuffnell and that Australian bloke who describes whats happening in a way as to give the listener no clue as to what is going on.

I prefer Knight to Lloyd, Botham or Hussain. At least he's not constantly harping on about how a batsman is organised, a bowler has a strong action or constantly shouting 'START THE CAR'. I'd much rather listen to Nick Knight, I like him.

Can no-one keep in Australia any more? Paine looks very untidy.
I don't think there's much debate that of the regular keepers in Australia he's definitely towards the bottom end of the list. It's his age and his batting that's got him in the side; a List A average of 37-odd while generally opening the batting isn't bad at all for a 24 year old.

Fair dos. &, in all fairness, Manou looked very decent in the one test he got. Guess his batting mitigates against a long run in any format tho.

'Tis the way of things now.

What a surprise. Prior scratches around, scores slowly, gets a start and throws his wicket away. Give Steve Davies a ring please.

yeah really the selectors need to get a ****in clue and realise Prior is about as bad as they come as a OD batsman.

Bra-fecking-vo Matthew. 28 from 47 and he dollies a reverse sweep to the bloke put there for the shot. Would make one cry if it wasn't so utterly predictable.

Owais to the rescue...

One ****ing atrociously mediocre ODI batsman departs another enters.
LOL, was just thinking the same myself...was like, oh **** its Owais next...then its erm Mr Nudge and Nurdle, then a tailend version of Shane Watson (being unkind to Watson) then a kid who bats about 10 for his county side.

BTW, are people starting to believe that Hauritz is good. Bet the English media feel like the poorly informed bunch that they are.
