fast is as low as 138?

that makes Mark Gilliespie and occassionally, Martin, O'Brien and Franklin all fast bowlers. Haha.

Nice work from Vettori. Would have prefered to get Dilshan but good to keep the inexperienced Parana down as well.

Last time I saw the clock on Franklin he had slowed down to like 120-125. I think Ryder bowls that speed. I think he used to be a lot faster. This is based on my memory only.

Was bowling 137 vs WI consistently. Cant recall what he was against India though.

Its him being third seamer and finding no swing thats my main gripe. If Franklin plays, then imo he should open the bowling where he can make best use of his swing bowling.

Ryder can hit the 130s too, if he slimmed down he could get pretty quick. Though I spose some of his pace comes from the fact he's got plenty of power to put into his bowling.

Apparently the reasons for SL's changes are:

Chamara Kapugedera replaced Angelo Mathews, still not fully recovered from a hamstring injury; Ajantha Mendis was benched for Rangana Herath, and fast bowler Dammika Prasad came into the XI for his third Test, taking Nuwan Kulasekara's spot. Kulasekara has been rested keeping Sri Lanka's upcoming international commitments in mind.
Surprised they dropped Mendis. Resting Kulasekara seems odd.

No complaints about retaining Patel - this pitch is meant to turn and NZ had to go in with two spinners. At least part of his poor performance in the last match can be put down to the travel bug - hope he bowls better here.

You can bet on the TAB for Guptil to make more or less than 26 runs when he bats. I have bet on him to fail. I think the SL players know about his weakness. Felt unpatriotic to bet against him though. Hope I lose the bet.

The TAB promised that they would have a 'next batsman out' function but they don't seem to have it. I wanted to bet on Dilshan to go out next. Sangakarra looks like he is digging in for a century.

On another note Dan looks set to get to 300 wickets. Well deserved if and when he makes it. I hope he doesn't over take Paddles though at 400 odd wickets think Hadlee deserves to be our number 1 forever.

You would have won some money. O'Brien would be over the moon about getting Dilshan.

Yeah, especially after missing a very difficult caught and bowled chance the previous ball.

I am waiting for Jeets to bowl but I guess with no runs being scored there is no reason to change anything.

I still don't see it maybe I read the email where they advertised this wrong.
I want to bet on Sangakara to get out next. He is getting too eager against vettori.

I just checked here is what they said
"Next Man Out - For every partnership you'll be given the names of two batsman and the odds of them being the next to be dismissed. Correctly predict who will be the next to be dispatched and you will cash in. "
