Jeez, Fererero smashed Hewitt in Montreal.

Haas topples Karlovic as well!
Actually beat him in a tie break, good win considering he only had 1 break point in the whole match and only won 2 points on Karlovic's first serve in the opening 2 sets.

Ferrero and Monfils played this awesome 50 shot rally. Was so good. Monfils ended it with a forehand down the line. One of the best pieces of tennis I've ever watched.

Wow, fair choke Federer!

5-1 up in the 3rd set vs. Tsonga, and loses it in a tie-break.

Roddick knocks off Djokovic, Murray beats Davydenko and it looks like Del Potro is going to beat Nadal fairly comfortably.

Montreal is almost always a good tournament!

The way the end of the year is going it's looking like the end of season tournament will be competitive with probably any of the 8 qualifiers (except for Djokovic) in with a good chance of winning it. Will be interesting to see what happens between now and then.

Del Potro definitely has Roddick's number now, after another close tight win (saved match points).

Del Potro vs. Murray is going to be sweeeeeeeeeeeeet!

Murray takes the final in 3 sets after Del Potro gets injured at the tailend of the 2nd.

Anti-climax

After watching about 4 games this morning remember why I hate Murray, what a toolbag.

Mum seems to suddenly like tennis. It is funny how her interest has correlated with a Scottish person being good at it.

The big rankings news is that Peter Luczak is the world No. 79 :D . Been in some great form recently with three Challenger finals from his last three attempts. Still a bit of a sorry reflection on Australian tennis that that is seen as some massive success.

Looking forward to Cincy with some great first round clashes. Wawrinka-Ferrer, Hewitt-Söderling, and the return of Chris ****ing Guccione. Any word on when Gasquet returns?

Well, I've gone off tennis. It is funny how my lack of interest has correlated with a Scottish person being good at it.

Fair play to Hewitt for saving match points.

Haas looked in trouble against Isner just then after losing the 1st, but managed to win the 2nd set. We're going into the third.

Ferrer just beat Cilic in straight sets.

Reckon we're in for an interesting tournament, even with Soderling, Verdasco and Kohlscrheibber out. Hardly like they're consistent players themselves.
