Saw on the Today show this morning where they interviewed Wendell Sailor and Richmond's Nathan Brown, and Brown said that since Karmichael Hunt has switched to AFL, it has been worth at least $7.5m to the AFL in terms of media time etc. FFS we have some clowns who run league. Hunt should of been axed straight away and let Brisbane prepare his replacement for next year and regroup and start again in 2010. If he is not going to be in the game next year, why play him? He can GAGF for all I care, I doubt he is even going to make it anyway. It's one thing to be able to drop punt a ball 40m to Nathan Buckley and land it on his chest, but another when we have blokes coming in from different angles to get the ball and put pressure on him.
As for Greg Inglis and the rest of the ***** who continue to shoot league in the foot, they can also GAGF as well. A bit of common sense along the way would help. If you're in a situation where you are going to give your missus a shiner then it is probably time to get out of the relationship or get in the car and drive somewhere far away to get your head right. No wonder people don't show up to games when you have a bunch of ****wits running around.
But this rant has made no sense whatsoever.

Yeah would be a great move by Brisbane really. Drop the bloke who's arguably been their best player (or at least one of) all season when they're still a chance to make the 8, and are struggling.

Obviously was saying "more money" by saying "better". Really I have no problem with these players switching codes other than it makes our code weaker. If players do it like Hunt has, as in see out their contract and then look at something different fair enough, what I do have a problem with is guys like SBW, Gasnier and Wing that are getting out of their agreed contract to do it.

Yeah, fair enough. Unfortunately league & in particular the NRL has been the poor relations ever since union went open, so you must be used to it. Just whereas previously you lost players to the Super League or the Super 14 they now generally go to France. Can't see KHunt's switch setting a trend, tbh. Still reckon it's mainly a publicity stunt.

Theres so many upset's in the nrl and this just smells of one. Storm have been good without really getting going while Knights have been struggling, everyone saying they are finished. A big home game with the whole Inglis thing too, if theres going to be an upset this weekend than this is it.
