BARNES OUT
I know I'm going to get shouted down for being biased/whatever, but did he actually hit that? The ball didn't deviate at all on my view. Sure sounded like it but for it to be that fine an edge that it didn't deviate much at all then surely the noise wouldn't have been so pronounced?

Can't be sure till Jimmy has a bowl. If he can swing it things can change so quickly.
Though the good thing is the conditions aren't overcast, and that certainly nulifies the swing factor a bit, but still would have to bat really well from here to draw the game.

Missed the wicket, because my sister's got control of the TV. But just saw a replay then with the close up, and wouldn't mind seeing snicko brought out for it.

I too at first thought that he just flicked the pad with his bat, but I guess he might have edged that, because didn't shown much disappointment or surprise at being given out.

Yep agree with Fuller this partnership is massive in the context of the series.

Just say Australia made another 130 runs, losing 7 wickets in 40 overs so that would make England chase 163.

If they had 37 overs to chase 163, what would be your batting order?

Interesting. I think I would be tempted to open the batting with someone like Prior or the batsman Stuart Broad, partnering Strauss.

I would keep Colly and Cook down the order a little just in case.
