Would like to see Johnson decapitate Flintoff with a short one and have him come out to bowl headless after having a painkilling injection.

And it might be time to give Hilf a rest. Nice shot by Flintoff though.

Really good session so far. Just a shame that we don't have enough time to force a result.

Though, it would help matters if lunch was 20 minutes, tea 10 minutes et cetera. Cricket doesn't do itself many favours at times.

We do if we up the RR and get a decent lead by tonight. Reckon if these two last another 70 together (might be too much of an ask) then they will kick on at that point.

If we're still batting, no need to take the light. Put as many on the board as we can and back the bowlers to get them out tomorrow.

We were in good position the other night and still took the light. 1 up, there won't be any risks from Strauss and co.

Yeah, but it's not a risk to keep batting in those circumstances, compared to the other day. Basically in an ideal world we'd be able to declare with a few to go, so might as well bat on if the light is a bit dodgy

Nice ball from Siddle

And there's the bottler, right on cue. Well batted though to be fair, good nut that got him.

Right Fred you really do need to bring your batting game now or we could quite easily throw this away.
Thought Bell showed an old failing in that he was unable to turn over the strike the ball before he got out he got 2 runs but before that it was 15 balls since he scored. He allowed the bowlers to work him over and build pressure not only on him but on his partner. It's probably where his bottler tag comes from in that he can't seem to get away from a good spell of bowling.
