Normal service resumed - seems cricinfo must have had a glitch - they had Newby out for a duck and Keeds in with Horton at one point
yeah saw that, but Cricinfo are dire for county games these days, the beeb had it right. We are 30/0 at the moment, listening to radio leeds, they aren't a happy bunch :D

My French is a bit rusty, but I'm pretty sure all the Radio Leeds commentators have talked about this innings is the amount of rain west of the Pennines and Lancashire's lack of batting points of late. Mention the game please.

****ing Yorkshi*e commentators.. 'it does worry me a bit when a bowler like Tom Smith can take 6 wickets on a first day pitch,...he's an honest toiler..blah blah blah Matt Mason'

**** off, you're super Yorkshi*e bowlers aren't exactly exploiting this pitch

Come on gents do give their situation some consideration - I mean if Lanky were as crap as they are wouldn't we feel the same?

Decided against going today, its raining here and damp at OT, they might get some play later this afternoon but not much, however tomorrow's forecast is surprisingly good so I'll be heading down then. Hoping this dastardly rain doesn't let the yorkies get away with it as it so often does

Is cricinfo playing up again or was this a duff call?

How close is Faf to being in the SA ODI squad, or at least the 20-20 team? I've seen him bat quite a few times and he always seems to bat brilliantly. Best fielder as well.

the magical OT drainage must have allowed some play...off now though but looking at the webcam they might be back today. They had about 3 inches of rain in about 3 days last week so its amazing they got any play in.

Don't think he'd be considered until he loses his kolpak status, would probably get into the A OD side but he wouldn't play for them at the moment because he might lose his status. Definitely a prospect for the future but its not as if SA are desperate for ODI batsmen.

Hey.

Who do you guys think will be future England players? I'm curious to know as it will be ITSTL to see how they do...

Also, what does the current Kolpak situation look like? Will the pre-existing ones be forced to return home?

Thinking of taking my two boys to Old Trafford tomorrow or Monday for their first taste of live cricket (they've been getting into the Ashes).

Does anyone know about the Times offer, mentioned on the Lancashire site? Was the voucher for free admission just available on Friday, or will there be another in the Sunday edition tomorrow, and on Monday?
