I suppose with the case of Brisbane, they do have $2m worth of talent sitting on the bench through injuries.
That's the key thing. Tonight we pretty much played with a Toyota Cup side, and did well not to let the Titans put 50 on us. Hodges proved tonight he is one of the top 5 players in the game, and I also thought Hunt had a very good game as halfback.

However, Prince took complete control and pretty much won the game for them. I lost count of the amount of touches he had when they were 10 out from the line. A freak of a player.

Simon spreading the 'Brisbane luck' by talking up Newcastle. Could you do the same for the Storm? (Don't want them getting too far ahead.)
Storm should win by 60 tonight, quality side I expect them all to be awarded OBE's by the Queen before too long.

They wont lose tonight, in fact despite being 2/14 over the last 2 and a bit weeks I'm confident Bulldogs, Cowboys and Storm will all win tonight.

Just a question, when a team takes their home game to a neutral venue (like the Bulldogs have taken their games to Brisbane and Wellington in the past, Souths took their game to Perth etc.), does the NRL provide any finacial incentives for a club to relocate their home game on top of what they receive for a home game (I assume it is all gate receipts, or is it that and a % of TV money?)?

They wont get money from the NRL but they get extra money from the stadium, like the Dogs would have gotten say 100k from Suncorp stadium. Same with Souths going to Perth they were given money from the WA government.

Wow. Huge win for Penrith there on the road and without Petro.

Not sure where it leaves the Cowboys.

At least you're not running second-to-last.

Can't believe that performance from Parra tonight. How they can all give a **** now their season is effectively over, yet not try half the time when they're still in the running earlier in the season is ****ing beyond me. Their defence was amazing

Potential is there with the Eels, it always has been. Their three quarter line is potentially as good as any. I guess too they have players in the key positions in form, Hayne, Mortimer, Keating, Moi Moi are all playing really well, also I think its because their average players such as Lowrie, Reddy and even Cayless who has been crap for the past 2 years are in their top form again.

In all fairness the Tigers havent let them play at all... Campese and Herbert have been totally shut down...

The defence of the Tigers has been nothing short of awesome...

Timmy Moltzen has also been great and is proving an excellent halfback in the last few weeks...
