Yeah but just saying these players adapting a more professional approach to their game in terms of prepaparation will improve their consistency which was Powell's point. Professionalism in preparation and attitude to the game.

There's a very good reason Dowlin hasn't been considered for Tests. The cupboard isn't that bare.

Dowlin is one of the few batsmen in this line-up who know how to play spin....

His problem is that he usually gets a rush of blood into his head when he reaches the 30s.
