Doesn't look like Haddin got away with one there... dunno if it'd have been good or bad if he had TBH.

Yeah, agree with this completely. I savour this crushing victory with some amount of nervousness about it being Edgbaston-1997-esque.
Especially considering the lack of runs coming from Bopara and Pietersen. Faced with a fully fit Lee or a Johnson with his **** together, they could destroy us.

I don't recollect me saying it was Aussie fault. Just saying the Indian moaners had a justification.
Threatening to boycott a match was a complete disgrace and disrespectful to the game.
Bad calls happen all the time, Aussies needed everything to go right to win this, it clearly isn't supposed to be today.

Cricket has a certain karma, perhaps perpetuated by umpires with guilty consciences.

Once again, the boycott had nothing to do with on field decisions. Or are we going to keep ignoring that?

The difference between here and India is that we had the team badly wrong in India. Hayden was past it, we had WHITE as our spinner ffs, Lee and Clark were both unfit.

Probably. When have people ever allowed the truth to get in the way of what they wanted to have been the case?

He was bowling awesomely two months ago. He's low on form and confidence, but that will turn around.
Gosh I hope so

To say he can't imrpove is silly. It's a tricky one.
Yes it is silly, to say Johnson can;t improve. Not sure anyone has though.

But if Johnson is not performing and doesn't perform in the tour match, he has to go.

There is a belief that the events of the fifth day in sydney played a roll in the threat of a boyoctt.
Indeed also played a roll in bucknor being pulled from the next test.

Yeah, they should've walked off, Gavaskar-style. Almost worth a BingLee pic TBH.
Tbf to Gavaskar, he admitted he was wrong doing that. And also it was not the decision but the nasty words from the Australians which prompted him to do that.
