That really should've been it. Haddin spills another low to his right hand. Looked to be wrong-footed again.

Jeez Haddin picked that up late. Like it did him for pace.

Lee's been ****ing immense here. Just needs to put one of these 2 in hospital to ice the cake.

& that is it. 6 run lead for Oz.

Interesting odds on Bet365: Aus paying 4.00, Lions 11.00 & the draw 1.33.

Australia good value there, IMHO.

Great chance for a Hughes special here, flat pitch, Mahmood in the attack and Bell setting the fields. What more do you need really?

Can see the Lions bowling 90% short at Hughes, and he'll batter them and hit a hundred. Hopefully anyway, if that happens then it should stop England doing it at Cardiff and getting smacked.

There's been a few keep low this morning. Standard for this ground come day 3?

Aus might bat as long as possible here if they can I reckon. Bowlers have had enough of a work out.

And right on cue Harmy banging it in, but too wide and going for 8. God bless him. We really should be playing him into Cardiff.

Yeah, can't see the point in saying "we'll bounce him out!!" really. Especially if it's in the same vein as South Africa attempted. Either the bowler will be dumb and do it too often, or the batsman will be ready to just duck everything. The other possibility is the bowler will bowl a good ball and it'll work I suppose

Hedge, much? :p

No control of the pull from Katich again there. Hussain speculating it's the slower pitches here, but surely he's played enough cricket in England to be used to them?

Harmison is possibly the least cerebral bowler to have ever played Test cricket.

Hughes is just playing with Harmy imo. Just a big ploy to get him into the Test squad.

Hughes goes again to Harmison.

Can tell the Duke ball is English - goes soft real quick....

I prefer the term 'detailed analysis'!

If I was to go out on a limb I'd say Harmison will be stupid and try to bowl too much short stuff and Hughes will just duck it.

Edit: Or not!?
