With Petero and Hannant out:

Price Smith Myles
Harrison* Thaiday
Johnson

Res: Scott, Crocker, Costigan

*If Harrison is out it gets tough to select. Stagg probably deserves it but a couple of bolters in Scott Bolton or Gavin Cooper might come into contention for a bench spot with Crocker or Costigan starting.
Nah, they'll claim Learoyd-Lahrs.

When will Matt Johns be back?

I reckon he'll come back during the finals in an off camera capactity, perhaps in the comm box.

Realised the other night that Hazem is probably my favourite player in the whole comp. Funny coming from a Rooster supporting Queenslander but the bloke is a genius.

Criminal he didn't play more origin or tests, really.

Without wishing to be too patronising, what a great ambassador for the Lebanese community and his sport generally too.

Disagree. Hazem has been a decent finisher but throughout his career whether it's been Sailor, MacDougall, Rogers, Tuquri, Sing etc we've always had at least 2 (often more) wingers better then him.

Agree, Hazem has been great for the Doggies but he has never been an elite player, it's harsh for anyone to say he will only be remembered as a great goalkicker because he was more than that. He was an excellent club footballer, he got to play an origin and a test and did well on both occasions and I think he achieved as much as he possibly could have.

Hasn't played a decent game in his life without one of the best halves of modern times next to him, complete and utter hack.
LOL no. He always played his best games for Brisbane when Lockyer wasn't there and did a good job for Sharks last year if Kimmorley wasnt playing. Has always been a bit shy of taking control when theres a more senior half there but was good as the main guy, also I've side it a hundred times I'll say it again, hes a Five-Eighth not a halfback.

Yeah, that's fair enough I suppose, El Masri maybe a bit unlucky his career coincided with so many quality backs tho. Size maybe counted against him too. Woulda played a lot more if he were a pom, no doubt. Interesting he's not having a lap of honour in the SL too. Sure he could make some (comparitively) easy money for a coupla seasons.

I'm biased tho, I love the man 'cos he's absolute banker for dream teams.
