If the Knights, Cowboys and Storm had their 2nd bye as well, Brisbane would only be sitting 7th actually. Not to mention the fact that there are currently 10 teams with a better for/against than Brisbane, and they are 72 points worse off than any of the teams currently ahead of them on the ladder.

I'm not writing Brisbane off yet, but as it stands they're going to have a tough time making the 8, let alone finishing top 4 or making a grand final.

Six points in the next three weeks

Then, the post Origin sprint to the line.

I find it unlikely that we'd miss the finals. There'd be blood on the streets if we did.

Yeah, and then all those teams + Brisbane would have the unfair advantage of having played an extra game. The ladder is a misrepresentation whether you give points for byes or not.. unless you just go on Win%.

Has happened before. I remember one season where the Broncos were killing it then barely won a game from Origin to Round 26. Finished 8th iirc.

*If Harrison is out it gets tough to select. Stagg probably deserves it but a couple of bolters in Scott Bolton or Gavin Cooper might come into contention for a bench spot with Crocker or Costigan starting.

Injuries are about the only thing that can even the playing field.

As I've said before, it's disappointing Kenny's injured, as I reckon he was a chance. Might return to Webb, but I don't know how he's been going.

Simon and Smith topped the round with 6 a piece, tipping just the Eels/Broncos and Raiders/Storm games wrong respectively. Could someone possibly double check for me, but i'm fairly certain there were no tips submitted by Blewy this week, and Tharmi missed the 2 friday night games (wasn't sure if you had tipped them elsewhere or not?)
