Hi I'm 13 and this is my first post.
My fingers are to small to cover the whole cricket ball since I learned the 'Shane Warne Grip.' I tried it but the ball does turn at all. I've tried a the same grip on a tenis ball and it turns left about 45 degrees to the middle stump from around the wicket.
I tried a differnet grip with the tennis ball like a seam bowler with out the thumb touching and spun it anitclockwise with the hand ****ed like a normal leg spinner.
The ball spun like 70 degrees from between the far left and the middle stump.
I've got a game next wednesday with a normal size cricket ball, how can i spin it.![Wacko  ](/forum/images/smilies/original/wacko.gif)
(With the seam bowler - like grip I dont want to use it because batsmen can spot my sliders, topspinners and leggies. At school I was using a larger sized ball and harder than a tennis ball, and not as big or hard as a proper cricket ball.)
Thanks for the Help.![Original :) :)](/forum/images/smilies/original/original.gif)
Theres two theads each on differnet subjects on Leg spin, so dont get confused.
