Saw the Chooks linked with Sonny Bill on rleague.com last night. Any possible credence to this?

Can't blame him wanting to come back, French toilets must be vile to shag in.

You and me support the same team in the NRL. Don't ask why I follow Melbourne, I'm not sure myself, I just do. That said I do cheer on the Titans in their games (not Melbourne).
cheers, just didn't expect that a kiwi living on the gold coast would go for the storm. Had the impression that everyone outside vic hated their guts.

Hey my fave football team is Italian. Anyway I'm about half Kiwi/Australian ATM since I have done 10 and a half years here.

Matthew O'Neill is good for:
  • Starting (but not contributing to) good debates with controversial opinion articles
  • Providing information regarding the Bulldogs
  • Surrounding himself with enough excellent rugby league minds and designers to run a bloody good website

The last thing I'd take any notice of would be anything he wrote about the Roosters. This is a great example of exactly why. You can ask him about it if you like though; he's actually a member here under the tag MattO.

You contribute there as I recall?

But thanks and it is a great site, yeah. Never make a move in any NRL dream team without consulting it first.

Haha, I used to. I still post on the forum (just as a pleb member); I'm not involved with the administration or content of the site for several reasons though - issues I have with the owner not being the least of those. If anything I should be biased against and bitter towards it and yet I still think it's excellent, so there you go. :p

Have you seen SBW play rugby BB?
Yeah, only a coupla times, most recently versus the Wallabies, but not impressed overly. Was shunted to the wing when I first saw him, which he doesn't have the gas for really. With his hands he should make a go of it, but from what I've read his heart doesn't seem in it.

Trouble is with a lot of league positions like lock, hooker or half-back there isn't a direct equivalent in union, so when blokes are signed the union coaches don't know where to play them. Farrell & Henry Paul had similar issues and both ended up (like SBW last Sat) at centre which is sort of the default position for backs who aren't lightening as it's the least technical.

On a related topic I see Gower, a half-back by trade, is debuting for the Azzuri as fly-half this weekend.

This. Copped a long term ban back in the day for no reason at all. Still have an account there but have made like 2 posts in 4 years.
I got stripped of forum admin powers for letting a member know that another admin (guess who..) was attempting to hack her account and read a PM. It's not like he was even open about it with the other admins either - I only found out about it because he failed and the forum software sent an email with his IP to the member in question automatically.

The forum has a great bunch of members and the main site is a really excellent source of news and opinions but you have to get used to the questionable forum administration if you want to post there.

Should probably be my last post on the matter though because this isn't the "bitch about other forums" thread and I still do recommend it despite all that anyway.

Their cricket forum was shocking. Michael Clarke scores a hundred and it's "omg pick pup 4 testz".

Remember someone on that site predicting Dirk Nannes would become an excellent player after seeing him play just one match. Good call IMO. Prince will remember. :)

Glad I went against the Broncos tonight too. So glad I decided to not go to the match, am sick anyways but still.

Can somebody please tell Karmichael Hunt that tackling involves using your arms, not your shoulder
