I'm taking nothing for granted until the league is formally discontinued.

BTW I'd never noticed before - at the fact that the ICL is adminned by a chap called Himanshu Mody, and the BCCI has Lalit Modi as IPL head.

And another thing I'd missed was that Tony Greig is involved with the ICL as well as WSC. I wonder if another league which aims to steal players from proper cricket just because their head-honcho didn't get the TV rights he wanted will crop-up in his lifetime? He evidently has quite the taste for them.

There was an attempt made by ICL to change the trend that only BCCI controls the game in the country But unfortunately the fact still remains intact

This is a clear case of monopoly. I don't like either BCCI or ICL, but BCCI has clearly been unfair to ICL by not giving them a chance to survive. In the feud, the players who wanted to play got a raw deal. Anyways, I think this is a fatal blow to ICL. I think going forward, ICL may keep fighting this battle in court and eventually may get some monetary reward to back off. But at that point BCCI will be so rich with IPL money, that sum of money wont matter much to them.

For the moment we ICL-lovers are saddened but ICL will come vigorously insha-Allah. It is not BCCI who have been able to give any blow to ICL. It is the Mumbai attack which has caused this stagger for the ICL. Our love is for ICL. Our prayer is with ICL. No can harm ICL except God.

Its the case of big fish eating the small fish, though I must admit that BCCI is ruining the sport by maintaining its monopoly status. I support ICL and will always do so as they have at least survived so long even when BCCI dealt severe blows on its existence.Kudos to Kapil DEV and party for fighting the aristocracy of BCCI.

EXACTLY, & the main thing is, what else Pakistan has
he is far better than these Salman Butt, Ahmed shehzad etc
Butt only knows how to score against India, that's it
& that too at a very slow rate
