I never understand all the rumours that Barcelona want to get rid of him. Are they on crack?Thought he had a very good game in an alien position, centre-forward. It was subdued Messi but he worked hard, linked-up fantastically with the midfield and still had time to do one outrageous piece of skill, when he killed a rocket fired in his vicinity mid-air dead (great header as well). Rightly, the Barca midfield has got most of the plaudits but I thought Eto’o was fantastic, gave Vidic a nightmare. Always questions around him against pace and power (Torres tore him a new one) but for a player of his undoubted quality, he was rank. Rio didn’t look at the races as well.
Fergie should put a fork in Giggs and Scholes...
na chelsea will win it 3-0Absolutely pumped for Saturday night's game!
Everton to destroy them!
42 appearances and 8 goals.ffs Milner must be at least 47 by now, been playing for the U21's since time began.
And he turned 23 in January. At what point does he stop being eligible for the U21s?42 appearances and 8 goals.
After the Euros, so in about four weeks. And he turned 23 in January. At what point does he stop being eligible for the U21s?
Thought it was more the previous manager who had problems with him than the current one?I never understand all the rumours that Barcelona want to get rid of him. Are they on crack?
There's been rumours for about 6 months of him leaving this off-season. The latest few being (of course) City bidding zillions and a swap deal for Zlatan with Inter.Thought it was more the previous manager who had problems with him than the current one?
Nah, not even close, actually. Cruyff (EPO, etc) was born in 1947 & Guardiola's not yet 40.Yup. Cruijff in 92 (last European Cup) was younger though.
Sadly Man U scoring didn't send Hull down again.Get on the roof, get it fixed yourself. Just dont do a Rod Hull
haa, word..After the Euros, so in about four weeks.
You have to be U21 when qualifying starts. Not sure why they don't just call it U23 though.
Ugh. Failed my maths.Nah, not even close, actually. Cruyff (EPO, etc) was born in 1947 & Guardiola's not yet 40.

Thierry pretty much has a complete set of trophies doesn't he? Must be in the running for the most decorated player in Europe right now.
Best player to not win World Player of the Year? Not sure he'd have the most honours in total, but between France and all his clubs he's probably got the widest range - he's won pretty much all he could have now at least once. Great player and well deserved.
