Personally, I don't want him playing for NSW. Sure, he's passionate and a good player, but he's a ****ing prick.

Just thought of something, didn't Hayne play for Fiji or someone during the World Cup? And if so how is it he can play for an Australian rep side less than a year later?

To call someone a Black so and so anytime is racist. To do it in the heat of the battle is just as bad as it was obviously the first thing to come to Gallen's mind if it is indeed what he said. You don't call someone that in that situation without having some sort of meaning to it.

As with anything, there are degrees of offences.

This was at the very bottom end of the scale, in my view.

Not aimed at you, but I find it rather sickening how people try to prove how fair and non-racist they are by exaggerating happenings like this.

It was very minor; he has no history of it - so let's judge it on its merits and move on.

There's some 'one-off' rule where you can play for a country other than your own if you are not selected in your country's squad. I think that's it, or it could be a special World Cup rule. Not 100% sure, but it's something like that.

The rule is about helping developing nations. Basically the slate is wiped cleaned now that the world cup is finished but I believe if Hayne turns out and plays for Fiji next week he would then be ineliegible to play for Australia for 2 years. Or something similar.
