If your Monfils, Safin or Tsonga had that attitude to their game, they would be dominant/have dominated.

Yeah, I'm agreeing with you - he's no shot of top twenty I don't think (unless he scores big in some tournaments later in the year where he lost all those points last year). I still think he has the weapons to be in the 30-40 range.

And totally agree with someone like Tsonga.

Thought he was pretty good today to be honest, seemed to hit a lot more clean winners than he usually does, pretty much destroyed Chela in the first 5 or so games because even though Chela competed, he was exhausted after those first 20 minutes. Think he has the fitness now that he can outlast most of the players on the circuit so even if he loses the first set he's still a good bet to come back

Has a pretty easy draw, should make the quarters

Berdych (against Bolleli) and Feliciano Lopez (against Franco Ferreiro) have both come back from 2 sets down to take their match into a 5th.

Considering Hewitt, Gilles Simon and Wawrinka all got up in 5, you'd back them both, as it seems like the French this year is a tournament where the favourites are being pushed to the limit, but coming through in the end. At least so far.

Wouldn't mind seeing Berdych get kicked out though. He's a bit of a dick.

EDIT: Lopez gets through in 5, Bolleli knocks out Berdych in 5 :D

Cant get excited about this tournament tbh. Probably been 10 years since Ive paid such little interest to a grand slam. Still looking forward to Wimbledon though.

Similar. Wow, Nadal's gonna win again, yay...

If he gets knocked out pre-final I'll probably watch all the matches after that.

Yeh thats pretty much the case. Although its more of a case of oh wow Djokovic, Federer and Nadal will be in the semis and Murray too if he plays to his potential. Theres very little chance of seeing exciting matches until about next Thursday.
