Whatever it takes!!!
Chennai lost to RCB even last year, when they were pathetic... But yeah, I do hope we can win and stitch up another semifinal berth.

And then get Ntini out on the park.. :)

DWTA best attack and one of the best opening lineups.
On paper maybe, but they've been average all tournament and arguably don't even deserve to make the semis much less the final (though maybe as a very distant fourth side, but even then they're just making up the numbers).

Their batting line up is nowhere near Dehli or Chennai either.

If CSK reach the semis, Michael Hussey said that he would be available for selection. If that happens, should Hussey open the innings with Hayden? Would solve the opening slot niggle that CSK have at the moment.

I wouldn't be so quick to change a winning formula. Their streak is five games in a row now.

In my opinion, CSK should try to find some exciting opening talent through their scouts or trade some other team's opener. They also need to find some good back-up bowlers. Hayden and Murali are not going to be around forever.

Why change a wining combination...????

and once warner have come in... the fielding of DD has gone couple of notch higher

and now that they are almost sure of reaching SF mcgrath might get some games
I think that was his point, considering Delhi never lost with while Vettori was in the team.

why would they have him in the late stage......its not that he has been on great form for Australia !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but that was something that was forced on them due to sehwag getting injured :)

You saw what happened to Hayden after he retired and had some rest. Hussey might come back as a dangerous batsman once again now that he has had a bit of rest.

Yeah, of course. But if you changed a winning team, even if not by choice, then using the argument not to change because it is a winning team ( a winning team that has lost 2 games?) doesn't really work.

their only option is to replace Oram and play Hussey...and it is highly unlikely .
Oram has been bowling lollies to the opposition and has one good score of 41* in this tournament. I would'nt be surprised if he is dropped for Hussey and Raina is made to bowl 4 overs.:)

According to Hayden, it's not just the rest but more that he's able to relax now that his international career is over. He said he's been able to prepare and focus exclusively on the IPL whereas most of the other players (especially internationals) would be focussed on upcoming assignments.
