But Bouch has been scoring runs (at a healthy strike-rate) and winning the side game(s). Ryder can't survive an over.

Kallis on the other hand is bowling real pies and his batting isn't comparable to say Cam White. Not sure why he is playing, its not like his coach has much time for him (or Bouch).
Taylor still a better batsmen for mine if given a decent chance, even with Boucher scoring runs. The issue for mine is that he bats too low and makes them play Jaffer as opener to compensate.

Would take anyone over Kallis in this format.

Against international bowling Cam White looks like poos.

So what if he scored 140 odd in England against week county bowlers, he is rubbish.

Bowling at a decent lick is Dillon.

Would have played for South Africa against Kenya last year if he didn't fear for his Kolpak safety but that is now no longer possible. Could now be a late bolter for South Africa's 20/20 15 if he strings a number of good games together. He can bat as well.

Nice measured win by Punjab .... KKR are in dumps. Whats surprising is that they made McCullum the captain when he is probably the biggest overseas flop in the IPL

B'lore doing well against Mum. But if Mum can hit back in the last 10 overs, then they will be back in the game .... Kumble's captaincy looks much better, don't know why BRC had to bring in KP to captain them

Well considering that in his last three 20/20 internationals he has scored 60 against Australia, and two 60's against India. Plus the form he had against India in NZ, yeah I guess you could call him a flop. But that whole KKR team sucks, there local talent is horrible. But it's not just McCullum failing, Gayle didn't do anything other then that 44*.

they didn't need to remove dada from captaincy in the first place and now are stuck with a struggling McCullum as he is the captain. Apart from that 158, he hasn't done anything much. Another case of style winning over substance

Tell me how does it look any better. What's Kumble doing different.
the field placements are much better, the players seem to be responding better to him

I would pick Kumble over KP as the captain, anyday!

Do you mean the IPL, or cricket in general.

Haha na relying on your two international openers to score all your runs and not investing in Indian 20/20 batsman was your problem. Does anyone actually think Ganguly's captaincy would inspire this team to victory? Perhaps they'd be kicking up less of a fuss and actually trying not to lose, and the fans would be happy with their hero not being disgraced but really the captain isn't the problem here.
