The Wheel is Forever
Mendis is getting the mystery beat out of him.
I don't mind SRK and do bellieve that he is a very intellegent actor who markets himself near perfectly to get maximum returns out of the Indian marker. I am in the same boat as you.LOL @ SRK being on the front page. That's so hilarious.
I like the guy, even if he is being a bit of a self-loving tosser. I can't help it.
Haha yeah I don't agree with what he does (selling shirts with his name is really up there in the ****y things to do), but it sometimes makes me smile.I don't mind SRK and do bellieve that he is a very intellegent actor who markets himself near perfectly to get maximum returns out of the Indian marker. However, last year, they sold jerseys with Khan written at the back (promoting himself as the 12th man of the team) and ****s still bought it. There was no jersey with Ganguly, Ishant or Akhtar written at the back. A real shame. Saved me loads of money though as it seemed illogical to buy the Khan jersey.
Yea, it's astonishing to make a profit in your first year in a venture like this.Haha yeah I don't agree with what he does (selling shirts with his name is really up there in the ****y things to do), but it sometimes makes me smile.
I guess I just love the way KKR (until they decided to piss out of Kolkata, or whatever) were marketing themselves. They had a funny ass ad, cool top, cool helmets etc. They were milking T20 for what it was. There was no shame in that.
Too bad they flopped on the field though. Guess it didn't matter as they made a profit (thanks to the Kolkata fans).
The India flag behind Kepler Wessels is beign flown upside down.
Indeed, Shukla was the only positive out of an awful performance.Well that was a thumping.
Shukla actually did well for an up-and-down medium-pacer. He had some amount of pace and bounce, enough to have McCullum standing back. He bowled tight and made the batsmen take risks, and was rewarded for some rather tight bowling even when his more illustrious teammates were hammered all around. Most surprisingly, he regularly bowled over 130k.Indeed, Shukla was the only positive out of an awful performance.
He definitely looked a bowler rather than a batsman turning his arm over. He was getting it down at good nip and pitching at a respectable length and line. Whereas Nayar was gifted his wickets (not that I'm complaining since I have kept him in my fantasy cricket team in the hope he'd recreate the Flintoff heroics), Shukla seemed to earn his through keeping the lid on batsmen who were, up until his arrival, unstoppable.Shukla actually did well for an up-and-down medium-pacer. It was a good match for both batsmen who can bowl seam-up.
