Reading the BBC report of the Lancs match, they said that Andersons 5 wicket haul in the first innings was his first 5 wicket haul for Lancashire for 5 years...they must have missed the 9 wickets he took in his last match for us last year? Or the five wickets against Yorkshire in 2007?

Not a good debut for Kent's Indian born seamer, Warren Lee, 5 overs for 53. Kempie is back for Kent but no Wayne Parnell. Tres currently going like a train, 68 off 37 balls.

Horton playing. Shouldn't be a problem for Lancs though, Northants have no van der Wath.
Was in pretty decent form in OD cricket pre-season, about time he started being decent in OD cricket, lets face it regardless of how many runs he scores in FC cricket, he won't get a look in for England unless he scores at least a 50 in a televised LO game. 8-)

Michael Vaughan seems to be in decent one day form, another good score for him (82)against Sussex. Wonder if that is enough for a test call-up...

Quite surprised by Saxelby actually, his looks are quite deceiving, don't expect a 19yo skinny ginner to be bowling over 85mph at Bristol...but it turns out they nicked him off Notts

If Sky are covering that game, it is pretty pointless. No real England talent or potential on show and both sides are ****.

James Franklin injured, I take it?

They haven't chosen the best games to cover either week so far at least next weekends looks a bit better, though we have to watch a Taunton road for 4 days this week.

Believe Franklin got injured in the FC match this week

James Benning really has regressed as a cricketer over the past couple of years. He was Surrey's new, younger version of Ali Brown and was touted as a possible solution to England one day opening woes but he is struggling to slog a quick fire 20 nowadays.

Recovered pretty well from losing 2 in 2 balls, including Ashwell Prince for a golden, Horton on 63*, Chilton plodding along well with him. 113 needed from 23

Hundred for Horton, well played son, do something like that in a televised game and the seletors might look at his profile on cricinfo and wonder how they've been missing a guy with such a good FC record.
