Hang on, Kallis is just not cut out for T20. His bowling is dreadful, with five wickets in 20 matches at an average of 79. He bowls at less than medium-pace. We don't expect him to do too much with the bat. Ryder is a lot better fit, and has actually done quite well with the ball so often.

Even as I type, Anil Kumble snares Hayden. EDIT: Now that Cricinfo scorecard sure is acting up...

Who's up for Anthraxing Modi?
I've said this before but Modi is really good for Indian cricket, especially compared to the previous regime. He has increased revenues significantly, and that matters because FC cricketers now actually earn good money and they are starting to get superior coaching and things like that. Obviously, with any Indian regime, they will go do crazy **** like a seven minute TV ad timeout, but overall, if he can reign it in a bit and focus more on FC cricket, he would be fantastic.

KP bowled him first ball! I guess that 'tactical timeout' helped Bangalore. I'd be pissed if I was the other team though. But Hayden still there as the danger man.

Good one. I too think Modi has done a lot more good for Indian cricket than his predecessors, and has taken several big steps. The IPL is one big thing he's done, and hopefully, we'll see him do a lot more for domestic FC/List-A cricket.
