I can't believe I haven't made a post in this thread yet. I've read every last post in here and it's basically been the first thread I've checked every day for the last week or so, but I've had nothing to contribute. Dire really.

Anyway, to make this a semi-constructive post.. does Hall have some niggle preventing him from bowling more? Thought it was odd he was brought on after Wigley (and even Willey in the second innings). The little he's bowled has been pretty effective too.

Will watch some of the Northants Essex game today. Northants batting first, a team bereft of interest. Hope Foster gets a decent bat for Essex, obv Bopara and Napier at IPL. Chambers might be interesting, described by Sky as pacy but wayward...story of an England fast bowler

What a ball from Masters.

Chambers is not pacy, I don't know where they get that from, he bowls at 85mph.

Good to see Cork getting smashed down at the Rose bowl, shame we couldn't be watching that game Davies currently 28*(24)

Good news is Jimmeh has been given permission to play for Lancs today. Bad news is it will probably be Tom Smith who gets left out provided that Chapple is fit. Wish they would leave out the Saj FFS, Smith is miles better but he isn't a chosen one.

Yeah, its a decent option, Hogg was lined up to open the batting in OD anyway and with Horton and Loye out injured, Smith is at least in decent batting form...unlike most of our batsmen.

du Plessis is such a good one day batsman/all-rounder. Just a shame he can't buy a run in four day cricket.
