Meanwhile, the Dutch move on well, 101-0 off 23.3. Another 50 for Kervezee, and Bukhari still there on 36.

They should not mess up from here, even accounting for the fact they're the Dutch team.

Is the commentator on CE Kyle McCallans best mate or something?
not sure about best mates, but they would know each other pretty well. He's travelled a lot with the Irish team to various tournaments. Gives a pretty fair view on the game in Ireland from what I've seen.

he does seem to be having a few technical glitches though. Or the ICC have decided to try Uber-overs as a new variation to the game...

my salutations to Kervezee were merly down the fact that he's having a awesome season and he's barely 19!

Worcs will enjoy his cricket.

doesn't NRR take into account both the runs for and against, hence Kenya would have to lose by x amount as well?
Yep...but if Afghanistan win by enough (those 94 runs again) to lift their net run rate above Kenya's run rate with a 1-run loss, then Kenya can not get better, and must win (or tie.) Clear?

:lightbulb

edit - I think I missed the 1-run loss bit in your earlier post

maths aside though - I would much prefer to qualify with a win rather than by not losing by a certain amount (would still take it though...)
