They need to win to get ODI status. 15/0 after 5 won't get them anywhere...

Also, CI said Szwarczynski opened the bowling for Netherlands...
There's no point Scotland aiming for 350 and getting rolled for 150 though... I reckon they're probably doing the right thing.

They've been doing this all tournament and ending up with 150/1 off 40, after which the entire lower order collapses into itself under the pressure of having to score at 2 runs a ball from the moment they arrive at the crease and they're all out for 200. The bowlers have bailed them out a few times but it's been these exact batting tactics that have lost them games.

A tight start from the Kenyan opening bowlers, however they could do with a wicket.

And Namibia get a 2nd Afghan wicket.

There's no real danger of Canada not qualifying is there? They're so far ahead of the next two on NRR that they'd have to be rolled over for under 100 and lose in 12 overs or so to slip out of the top four. They haven't made an ideal start, but it looks as if Billcliff and Bagai are digging in.

Just watched the highlights of the Neth-Ire game. Admittedly low quality footage, but Morgan does not look England standard. Let him stay with Ireland.

His one shot appeared to be the front foot swipe to mid-wicket regardless of where the ball pitched or the pace of the bowler.

W Porterfield c Ouma b Odhiambo 21 (44 balls, 3x4, 0x6) SR: 47.73
Partnership of 34 in 65 balls

Big wicket for Kenya. Odhiambo continues his knack of taking wickets despite being expensive.

16.3 Seelaar to IS Bilcliff, SIX Driven over long off, nearly killing his team-mates in front of the pavilion!

Nice commentary.

A Poynter bowled Ongondo 14 (37 balls, 1x4, 0x6) SR: 37.84
Partnership of 2 in 6 balls

Another one for Kenya. Ireland 38/3.

Your basing that on one innings where he had a slog cus the game was already won and he was playing a useless spinner?

I don't think he actually good enough either, but he not much worse then the likes Bopra and Shah.

14.1 Odhiambo to N O'Brien, 1 run. DROPPED. Sprawliing attempt at first slip but Tikolo, surprisingly, couldn't hold on

Could be a crucial moment.

14.4 Odhiambo to K O'Brien, 1 run. DROPPED. This time at second slip by Tikolo (the first chance was spilled by Obuya

Oh dear.

Cricinfo is showing Poonia as 'retired out' - what's happened there?

It's not a warm-up game.

Edit: cricketeurope have it right I suspect

I agree with Morgan not being England material, but then again he's 22 and still learning, you never know.
