There's no point Scotland aiming for 350 and getting rolled for 150 though... I reckon they're probably doing the right thing. They need to win to get ODI status. 15/0 after 5 won't get them anywhere...
Also, CI said Szwarczynski opened the bowling for Netherlands...
Much better. But now they have to push on and not stop taking wickets after they've collected 5 or 6. It's what did them in against the Scots. Are you Dutch guys feeling a bit better now? 48/3.
They've been doing this all tournament and ending up with 150/1 off 40, after which the entire lower order collapses into itself under the pressure of having to score at 2 runs a ball from the moment they arrive at the crease and they're all out for 200. The bowlers have bailed them out a few times but it's been these exact batting tactics that have lost them games. There's no point Scotland aiming for 350 and getting rolled for 150 though... Your basing that on one innings where he had a slog cus the game was already won and he was playing a useless spinner?Just watched the highlights of the Neth-Ire game. Admittedly low quality footage, but Morgan does not look England standard. Let him stay with Ireland.
His one shot appeared to be the front foot swipe to mid-wicket regardless of where the ball pitched or the pace of the bowler.
Cricket Europe have retired hurt.Cricinfo is showing Poonia as 'retired out' - what's happened there?
It's not a warm-up game.
Oh, I admit it was a small sample size. Was against the medium pacers as well as the spinner though.Your basing that on one innings where he had a slog cus the game was already won and he was playing a useless spinner?
