***Official*** Australia in South Africa

Haddin runs himself out yet again. Very dissapointing. He is terrible between the wickets.
Yeah, the commentators were talking about his running just 10 minutes earlier. Probably the right time to get Ponting in though, you wouldn't have wanted to keep him back much longer I guess.

Good bowling got that wicket. We'll have to see what Aus does with the spinners. They've struggled with them the whole summer.

RRR at 6.5 now.

Yes, nice return catch by Botha, and Clarke managed to get his pads out of the way too, fair play to him.

Spin at both ends now, and the required RR reaches seven for the first time.

Pretty much on a par with what South Africa had at this stage though.

Clarke cleaned up by van der Merwe.

Surprised that Clarke is going to captain Aus in the UAE, as he looks like he needs a 'rest'.

First international D/N at Newlands where I haven't seen the seamers get the ball to do anything under the lights. Pitch quickened up a bit but Steyn and Parnell got hardly any swing and zero seam movement.

Tis a good move to have the two spinners in the side. 280 odd would have more than enough given the slow nature of the surface even without the assistance of the lights.

Might as well send Johnson in and take the PowerPlay. Hopes against the spinners isn't a pretty sight.

You know what, change Amla for Gibbs and this side isn't a bad choice for the next WC. Especially when you've got M Morkel as backup (Ntini would probably have faded quite a bit by then), R Peterson could probably find a place as a back up too.

I think Morne and Rofl would be interchangeable depending on the pitch with him and Kallis bowling first change. Big fan of the current team. Again the new ball pair was brilliant up front (even with no swing) allowing the spinners to clean up the rest.

The batting is great too. Batting all the way down to 10.

Both series were damn competitive...

In Australia [ hosts ] : SAF [ visitors ] won first 2 tests and lost the 3rd
In Australia [ hosts ] : SAF [ visitors ] lost both T20Is
In Australia [ hosts ] : SAF [ visitors ] won first ODI, lost 2nd and then won all 3 games to take the ODI series

In SAF [ hosts ] : Australia [ visitors ] won first 2 tests and lost the 3rd
In SAF [ hosts ] : Australia [ visitors ] lost both T20Is
In SAF [ hosts ] : Australia [ visitors ] won first ODI, lost 2nd..........it looked so so identical and Australia should have gone on to win the 3rd game as well...

BUT - it looks like SAF gonna win this 3rd ODI...

Great entertainment!
