Is anyone else getting sick of the ridiculously flat pitches in NZ? I mean seriously, this is ridiculous. It's the second session of day 4 and the pitch is offering no turn, no inconsistent bounce, no seam movement, no reverse swing, no pace. Why these pitches are considered "good" I don't know.
Definitely.

Thought flat tracks only came in Asia?

Oh wait...

Dravid may have had a look of shock, but he walked immediately. Top bloke.

Fair to say a Yuvraj would have sat there and stared down the umpire.

We don't use the refferal system, and people call for it, but we have it, it makes too many mistakes that is acceptable and people want it scrapped. Make up your mind FFS.

Believe it or not Craig, not everyone is the same person

I actually agree with this sentiment somewhat, but jeez, there's no pleasing some people. Last Indian tour anyone?

Yet another gift for the Kiwis
?

Nobody with a clue wants it scrapped, it's absolutely necessary but it should be implemented better.

Referral system but only have one challenge, and make it that LBW's arent allowed to be referred.

Nice to see NZ finally getting some luck with a decision though.

I never have wanted it scrapped. The same people generally have wanted it not instituted and scrapped. People who supported it from the beginning still support it, for the most part.

Most people want a better implementation, very few want it to be absolutely gone.

I would have flung my bat. Dravid was out there for so long, did not deserve this.
Sometimes, the fielding side ask the question when they genuinely don't know. This one was so far from being out that Jamie How, if no-one else, must have realised that the appeal was speculative at best (I'm struggling to avoid using a less politically correct term).

Oh, bugger. The term is 'dishonest'.

Don't get me wrong, NZ have bowled pretty well (not well enough to deserve wickets on this pitch) but most of the wickets have come from reckless shots. This time, it was the umpire.

The arrogance never ceases to amaze.

NZ didn't bowl well enough to deserve wickets? You're kidding me right?

Well, not exactly. This is ME calling the appeal questionable at best, not the Indians. I'm of an age where I feel that cheating, gamesmanship, call it what you will, has crept into the game more and more to the extent that it has reached an unacceptable level. I'm quite consistent in that. It's just a shame that the players aren't, and feel that if they can get away with something, they will.

No, you're kidding yourself with this notion that anyone who takes credit away from the Kiwis must be saying it out of arrogance. I'll say it again, NZ didn't bowl well enough to deserve this many wickets on this pitch. That doesn't mean they won't deserve the victory if India continue with the reckless shots (because they've outperformed the Indians in all departments so far), but that doesn't change my point.
