Can't see another twist coming soon though. Like Masterblaster i've hardly been keen to witness this year's WM, though i will waste my money on the PPV.

Who booked last night's Raw? Vince Russo?

Seriously, Attitude Era style secret camera's leading to love affair revelations, Undertaker speaking and Stone Cold Triple H breaking into Randy Orton's house with a sledgehammer instead of a gun and then getting arrested like Steve Austin would.

It was a fairly entertaining show, but really, really strange. One of the strangest Raw's I've seen in quite some time.

Fantastic. Although this goes against what I would've had on the card. Where does this place a certain Jack Swagger?

A potential battle against Evan Bourne me thinks seeing as though he is returning to ECW next week
Would have thought this would be the case.

Great work by WWE that two guys who weren't even on the roster come WrestleMania last year will probably end up facing each other for a fairly important title at the biggest show of the year. They've both done a great job of getting themselves over, and they've both earned their spot in showing a huge amount of talent.

I'm betting Bourne wins the title at 'Mania and Swagger goes on to be drafted to RAW or SmackDown.

Awesome to see Christian in MITB this year. He has to be the favourite now along with MVP to win it. Personally I think MVP has a bigger chance to win it, but Christian winning would be brilliant and could open up so many opportunities.

All those rumours about Vince 'not liking' Christian and not giving him a push seem like rubbish to me. First of all he would have never re hired Christian fi he didn't think that Christian could contribute in a positive way.

Secondly Christian has been getting pretty prominent TV time every week and has already been in a championship match on TV despite only coming into the company a few weeks before. Now Christian is going to Wrestlemania and participating in one of the biggest marquee matches there is where he is the favourite to win.

Doesn't seem like a bad deal to me. Vince McMahon isn't an idiot. He knows that TNA are a major international wrestling organisation and he also knows that the fans are behind Christian and that he's pretty over at the moment and that there is money to be made.

Hopefully though this trend continues and Christian is finally able to win MITB and go on to cash it in against Edge sometime in the future because that will be a huge money match if that happens.

That's been the best thing about WWE as compared to TNA. Young talent being given the ball and being allowed to run with it. That's why ECW was brought back and that's why it's one of the best pure wrestling shows on television.

The likes of Swagger, Bourne, MVP and Punk have been given time to develop and they all have thrived. Now with the likes of Di Biase, Cody Rhodes and Tyson Kidd coming in I think WWE will be well served into the future.

Tyson Kidd looks like a fantastic young athlete. Having trained with the Hart's makes him the real deal and one to watch in the future. He's always had a huge reputation internationally from his work in the independent circuit, but I've been very impressed with Tyson Kidd so far.

Bret Hart gave a recent interview to ESPN.com. For a while now I've been a critic of Bret and how he thinks. While he had plenty of great matches in the WWE, the way he continually talks about how the WWE screwed him, bleating over it continually, and the logic behind his thinking disappoints me. This is a good illustration of how Bret thinks from a recent interview.

Vince knew that he was going to screw me from the time I came back after my little hiatus after Wrestlemania 12.
It's like he's creating a different reality for himself. Why would Vince plot to screw him over for a year and then ask him to lose to Shawn repeatedly before Survivor Series? Makes no sense.

Here's a link to the interview - WWE Legends: Bret Hart Interview - Videogames - ESPN - he continues to discuss how he thinks Vince deliberately created tensions between himself and Shawn.

Kind of reminds me of the time he said, in the documentary 'Wrestling With Shadows', that he'd rather have his character raped in the ring than lose in Montreal. Dude takes it all too seriously.

Bret has been over what happened there for a while now but I doubt time will ever make him change what he believed then so if someone asks him about it now he ain't changing his answers. Anyone who's been in an office/workplace where politicking is rife would understand how such a paranoia can manifest and especially with a character like Shawn who is well known to have buried so many people.

As for the criticism of being too much of a mark for himself; he was but so are Flair, Triple H, Hogan, Hbk and every other great in the industry.

For mine most of his animosity is directed at Vince letting Owen go through with such a stupid entrance which he knows he would've talked him out of had he still been in WWE. That's what he probably will never get over and he'll naturally harbour some animosity to WWE over that forever.

The Rock wasn't IMO though I could be WAY wide of the mark as I am not absing it on any backstage info etc

There are exceptions of course. Guys like The Rock, Jericho, Booker T amongst other were Main Eventers who had some sense of perspective. I'd even put Cena in that category too which is why I never begrudge him the success he has despite some horrifically manufactured gimmicks he's being given.

Nice, you getting a regular column on there? Would be very interested to read more of your stuff. Anyone on their write anything regarding the technical aspects of wrestling or analysis of the wrestling psychology being used these days? That's the type of wrestling related stuff I haven't read for a long long time.

Well, it's not a wrestling-specific site by any means. It's just a general freelance journalism site. I won't plug it too much as they have a cricket section and are therefore competition for CW in a minor way, but I just started working there as a writer.

I may well do something about in-ring psychology - the more articles I write the more I get paid, and if people will read it, then I'll write it. As soon as I get some time on my hands, that is. The articles I write about wrestling are mostly going to be for my own enjoyment, as they're not the ones that get large numbers of hits. I've done stuff about all sorts of topics so far, it's been pretty good fun.
