And Younis is gone! :( Flat pitch or not, a triple hundred is something to congratulate. Well played Younis!!

Well played but I am glad the great man's record stays intact.

Somehow, you want one of the alltime greats to have the highest score record.

Great innings by Younis Kahn, truely a superb batsman and i would prefer him over Sangakkara in a test match tbh. But this match is probably one of the worst test matches in history.

Well deserved 100 for Akmal better then his previous hundred at NSK against India in 06.

Well, please be aware this is wishful thinking for the 2nd part.

1. Currently, the Pakis have been scoring 6 runs per over for the last 10 overs. With 20 overs left in the day, I can see them level the scores by the close of play on this 4th day. It just doesn't seem too unlikely they will, without losing Younis' wicket!

2. Tomorrow, Pak could slog their way to a 100 runs first innings lead, before lunch and call the Lankans in. The pressure and panic, combined with a suddenly changing wicket will actually make this a great test.
And the blind but endearing optimism award goes to...
Well, Not exactly as I, admittedly optimistic, described, but the Paks declared after an entertainingly quick-fired 120 run lead and got a Lankan wicket in their first over.

It still seems rather improbable, but......., could it become a tight finish? What is the wicket like? Still the road it was the previous 4 days?

That's 2 wickets in 5 overs. Given the total lack of wickets over the last days, that's remarkable in itself!

I know he took a few years to get going and become phenomenal, but are those Murali's worst Test bowling figures?

(Yes, I know that any innings where he took none-for is technically worse! :p)

Thank god this farce is over, I really don't know one can expect Pakistani crowds to come and watch test cricket when this is the quality of cricket on display, anyways shame Younus couldn't get past the 400 mark, atleast that might have made BC Lara, think about making a comeback...:p

Late drama, but with Samaraweera at crease, SL is always safe. Dilshan has ****ed up his chance on such a good track. Feel for Paranavithana though. This guy has some techinique to play fast bowling, unlike ****ty Upul Tharanga.
