Dilshan deserved the ton! Jaya has gone terrible from poor. Its time for him to take the role of commentator!

Sort of. His dismissal of Sanath was smart bowling, and his line has been okay from what I've seen. Had Sanath dropped earlier as well.

That being said there has been some crud mixed in between.

Sehwag breaking cricketing tradition and bowling with a hat!
TBF it is to avoid heat-stroke.

India have nothing to read into this game. Basically I feel they wanted to test the batting strength than the bowling strength. Although I felt it was ridiculous to use 9 bowlers, and Balaji getting just 5 overs. Chasing such a huge total always depended on the start by Sehwag and Gambhir and both failed. Raina and Rohit as well did not impress. Yuvi was sublime, but the lack of seriousness was evident in his batting in particular and India's batting in general.

Anyways, morale boosting victory finally for Sri Lanka. Well deserved too.

NZL put on 100+ with last couple of wickets at more than 7-8 an over!

India is easily giving it up here! Its really sad to give up like this - atleast put up some fight...

5-0 would have been much much better

NZ had McCullum.

The series is alive.

Unfortunately nothing that India has.

Better to get some batting practise for their new gun.

Although I don't prefer such meek surrenders, practically it is no worse than an all out slog and 200 all out.
