Symonds sent home

CA have to want to break up with Symonds.
I don't think they can do that, they want Symonds playing for Australia, not only is he a tremendous player, he is also a very precious entity for them from a marketing perspective, he is one of those blokes who brings crowd into the stadiums, and someone who is a star attraction.

So they want to do everything possible to make sure Symonds plays again for Australia, but i just don't think this is the way.

CA has treated Symonds like crap and is now reaping the "benefits" (Katich vs Clarke and Haddin incidents are every bit as bad yet yet Symonds has been singled out)

Either play him now or tear up his contract

Yeah that's true, and i think the other names that you have mentioned too might be in trouble if they make it a habit of getting into trouble ala Symonds.

Though my problem is, that CA are turning Andrew Symonds into a ****ing joke, of course the guy has made some mistakes, and he is paying the price for it, but too bring him in-front of the media, and discuss how well Symonds' rehab is going and how he is on the right track, blah, blah, blah, and how psychologists backed by CA are teaching Symonds the way to live life properly is bull****.

Symonds is old enough to make his own decisions, and the most simplest thing for him to do is to go out there and play some good cricket, rather than getting his brain clouded further by some sports psychologist.

Seriously I disagree. Symonds has created more liabilites than assets for Aussies.

What liabilities, other than the minor embarrassment? Are you naive enough to believe that occasional embarrassment outweighs important knocks in winning causes?

Symonds is a far superior player compared to many of the muppets Australia have been bringing in, purely in terms of cricket. They should cling on to him like dear life. And there is no doubt that the selectors are fully aware of this.

Nnanden you might understand this, but.

The whole concept of Symonds undergoing psychological treatment, therapy smacks of nonsense. The only thing that's causing this erratic behaviour is sin and no amount of good works or counselling can correct taht. The sooner Symonds rights his relationship with God through Jesus the better.

FFS, this was a cricket forum last time I looked, save the religious propaganda for another forum

^ Yeah, he's allowed to post that, whether people agree or disagee with religion or God or whatever.

Mind you, Symonds going to church would make me laugh for some reason. Can imagine him going with zinc on his lips.

And sledging the priest mid-sermon...I can imagine him receiving the Holy Bread, walking back 7 paces and dropping it on the ground, then preceding to roll his arm over.

Yeah exactly, atm Symonds' form on the cricketing pitch isn't good enough to earn him a place in the Australian test side, and his selection should be based on how well he does for Queensland in upcoming weeks rather than on the opinion of some sports psychologist.

Is he suspended from domestic cricket as well?

And he did play some domestic stuff recently and did nothing impressive right?

The way to go about that would obviously be CA changing their Facebook status to 'single', deleting his number from their phones, not receiving his calls, and getting plastered in town with their lawyer buddies

Admitting the horrendous but still strong affair with BCCI will be simpler.
